With a minimum investment of S$20,000, you can invest in a Structured Deposit from now till 5th September 2014. The fixed interest rate payout are as follows:
Year 1: 1.45% p.a.
Year 2: 1.45% p.a.
Year 3: 1.50% p.a.
Year 4: 1.90% p.a.
Total: 6.30% p.a.
Do note that this Structured Deposit is not a traditional deposit and is not protected under any government or private protection or compensation scheme. Hence, you may not receive the expected interest payments and you may lose some or all of your initial investment amount if:
1) the Bank defaults on any of its payment obligations under the Structured Deposit or becomes insolvent; or
2) certain events which subject the Structured Deposit to an early termination occur.
